During the 2012-2013 school year, I spent my free time on the Arizona State Spirit Squad. Being on the team gave me hands on experience in the real world. Being on the Spirit Squad is more than just showing up to games and cheering on the team; it is hours of hard work, commitment, and dedication. The team has taught me time management skills. Along with hours of practice and performing at games, we were required to do appearances. These appearances enhanced my public speaking and communication skills. At the end of our season, I was awarded with 'Most Spirited' Spirit Leader by our coach, April Hoffman.
